CNET Content Solutions is first to market with the EU (European Union) Energy logo and label service which clearly communicates a product’s energy rating to help promote energy-efficient products.    As of Jan 1, 2015, the EU Energy Commission now requires the energy class rating arrows and labels to be published on retailer e-commerce websites online for products released to market after Jan 1st for all relevant categories.

EU Energy Logo and Label Example

The EU energy label is designed to provide consumers with accurate, recognizable and comparable information on domestic household products regarding energy consumption, performance and other essential characteristics. It allows consumers to identify how energy efficient a product actually is and to assess a product’s potential to reduce energy costs.   The logos and labels are available for the following categories:

  • Air Conditioners
  • Refrigerators
  • Wine Storage
  • Washing Machines
  • Tumble Dryers
  • Dishwashers
